Percy will go down in history as one of Victoria's finest all-round sportsmen. The only sportsman to play over 200 games at top level cricket and football. He also was selected to represent Victoria in both sports.

- Played with Melbourne Cricket Club 1932-46
- Captained Melbourne C.C. 1940.
- Runs compiled 7072.
- In 1942, in 4 games, he made 411 runs without being dismissed.
- Played for Victoria in 18 matches and 27 Innings with 4 not outs.
- His highest score was 226 not out.
- He compiled 1186 runs at an average of 51.5.
